Organic Farm Raised Free Range Beef

Broad Acres Farm proudly raises and sells organic free range Red Angus and Red Angus / Hereford cross beef. These cattle are born and raised at Broad Acres Farm. During the summer months, they are free ranged and feed on the lush organic pastures of Broad Acres Farm. During the winter months, they are feed organic grass hay grown at Broad Acres Farm. They are also supplied with the required mineral supplements which we purchase from Western Feed Supplements out of Ellensburg Washington. These supplements are all natural, and contain no animal parts.

Our free range grass feed beef is very good for you and it tasts good too.

Research indicates by eating foods high in omega 3 we substantially lower the risk of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and obesity, as well as a positive effect on the human brain resulting in a gain in memory function and a reduction in learning disabilities.

As this is a small family owned farm we typically have 8-10 head available for sale each summer. If you are interested in purchasing a half or quarter of this beef feel free to contact us in early to mid-summer as we typically send them to the butcher in late August / early September.

Rates for 2009 were $2.50 per lb (hanging weight) for halves (~200 lbs hanging weight) and $3.00 per lb for quarters (~100 lbs hanging weight) for these prime yearling beef. If you would like to come out to the farm and pick out your own steer please let us know.
